i wonder why parents are so protective nowadays.
parents (most) this days are pretty much..lenient, too lenient
they:

1. dont use the, “even if you cry, i will still not give it to you” method
2. dont whack..they talk (as if its of use..duh)
3. just friggin spoil the damn kids and they;re brought up spoilt rotten!
4. think that money is everything..that money can buy happiness (NOT)

though i aint a parent myself, i just feel that the kids these days are what they are mainly cozz of how they were brought up.when i was young, i was brought up rather harshly.

1. i get whacked most of the time even when it aint my fault–simple accidents like when my bro falls down and i was on the spot right beside him, i get whacked coz my parents feel its my responsibility to look after my younger bro
2. i dont get what i want unless its a special occasion like is my birthday or when my parents feel that i deseve his particular item cozz i;ve shown some satisfactory results.
3. my dad does the commanding.when its meal time, we are supposed to sit by the table and gobble down everything–whether or not you;re hungry.(its mealtime, aint monkey business time)
4. when we (bro+i) were up the public buses, we dont run about, dont scream but just sat down nicely, by the window.
5. when my parents give a straight “no” for an answer, i respect their decision and i accept it

 i hate to say this..but honestly, the kids today are just so fortunate and they just dont get it.parents, some words of advice:being protective wont do your child any good.if he/she gets scolded in school, dont simply dive into a conclusion and stand up for your kid.have the initiative to ask your child..what has he/she done wrong.dont assume for if he/she has done no wrong, then why is he/she caught in such a situation? besides, i know you kid is precious to you. which parent wouldn’t feel so? if you feel that you can bring your child up better than how we do, fine, bring him/her up yourself. i cant give up my class of 26 children just to accomodate to a child. every child should be treated equally, with respect. and the rest of my children deserves just as much attention.

i;m sorry to tell you that lady. but truly, i love all my 26 children for they are different individuals.i wont forsake them just for your child. your kid is important, yes. and the other kids’ parents feel so too..and thus, before you judge me, judge my colleagues, the school, sit down and think and reflect before you shoot. because..you;ll only disgrace yourself and your kid. and stop comparing. comparing leads you nowhere. if you wanna tell me how wonderful his previous centre was, very well, get him back in there. i aint bothered, really.

like i said it..i aint a parent and no, i aint judging you.
i just despise your sense of rationale..

sometimes i feel that the lil voice in me is bizarre.
one minute, i wanna go tanning
then i think i should go jogging
i decide later, why not go roller- blading?
and eventually, i settle for..a swim
